&lt;p&gt;Another option to consider might be psExec by sysinternals [1]&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;psexec \\targetComputer -c dtexec.exe &amp;lt;package&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With this you wouldn't have to have SSIS on your local machine, and the whole process would execute on the remote host.&lt;/p&gt;
