Pragmatic Works South Africa implements all the tried and proven Pragmatic Works techniques, with a local twist. PWSA focuses on delivering a complete information management experience, building dashboards and advanced visualizations within the context of managing all information: documents; user created content; workflow process; and integrating all of these with traditional BI capabilities to turn information into decisions, and decisions into action.

Pragmatic Works South Africa, the first Pragmatic Works office outside of the United States, is managed by Principal Consultant, Mark Stacey. Mr. Stacey is an active member of the South African BI community, running a BIDB chapter in Johannesburg, blogging on BIDN, and answering SQL and BI queries via his twitter handle, @MarkGStacey. With frequent presentations at events such as the ITWeb BI conference and SharePoint Saturdays, Mark is passionate about educating the community about the Microsoft BI technology.

“Companies were using BI to cut costs during the downturn but that’s now evolved into adapting to their data coming in more quickly. When the business requirements change, the intelligence also needs to change.”
