Written by Pragmatic Works | Feb 15, 2019

Looking to learn more about the incredible trio of tools in Microsoft’s Power Platform? This platform consists of Power BI, PowerApps and Microsoft Flow and we think it’s something you’ll want to know about.

In a recent webinar, President of Training, Devin Knight, gives us a full tour of the Power Platform as he digs into each tool in the platform, teaching you how to design solutions using this powerful new platform from Microsoft.

He starts with PowerApps (including a demo of building an app), which is an application Platform as a Service (PaaS) for citizen-developers to build high-productivity business apps. This fully cloud-based rapid application development platform let’s you easily create your own apps that can be easily shared across a department or entire organization.

From there he moves to Microsoft Flow. This is a service for business users to automate workflows across apps and services and a great companion to PowerApps. You can easily create workflows with a drag and drop designer and Devin will show you how in his demo.

Lastly, it’s on to Power BI, which has taken the world by storm! Power BI is a collection of software services, apps, and connectors that work together to turn unrelated data into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights. The demo will show you how to integrate Power BI within the platform.
