The simplest way to import Excel data is through the Get Data button in Power BI Desktop.
Note: This method keeps a live connection to your Excel file, so refreshing your dataset in Power BI will pull the latest data from Excel.
If you’ve already done extensive work in Power Query or Power Pivot in Excel, you can import it directly into Power BI without losing your progress.
Key Difference: This method breaks the link to the original Excel file, so any updates in Excel won't reflect in Power BI automatically.
