This month, our experts will be covering a variety of topics from assembling a data team to consumption based BI and more. Notice something different? Based on feedback we've received, we made a few changes to our training sessions to make them more efficient and increase value. Our webinar format has been modified to allow for more question and answer time during each webinar. We have also reduced the number of session to allow our experts more time to develop their sessions and come up with new topics.

Steve Hughes is a BI Architect at Pragmatic Works who works with Microsoft’s SQL Server stack and Windows Azure to deliver data and business intelligence solutions. He’s passionate about using data effectively and helping customers understand that data is valuable and profitable.
In his session, "Consumption Based BI Architecture," Steve Hughes is discussing the shift towards non-relational data sources for use with analytics. Consumption architecture is built on the idea that no matter the structure or type of data that is available it must be consumable. During this session, we will look at an architecture that is focused on the consumers of the data as opposed to the systems that produce it. This does not displace any of the technologies currently used in business intelligence today, but embraces them by making them available to be consumed by end users, data analysts, and data scientists.
