That secret is called Azure Hybrid Benefit. What this means is you can take licenses that you already own for Windows Server and other products and move them in Azure or run them in a hybrid way which lowers your compute cost in Azure – saving you from paying full price in Azure by using these licenses in a hybrid or cloud scenario.
This can make a huge impact on your bottom line and can be a transformational price difference on your migration efforts or to move workloads to the cloud. There are also additional support options that come along with this.
At Pragmatic Works we do a lot of cloud migrations with all different workloads and by utilizing this knowledge, it’s been very transformational for many of our customers.
We also found out that many other partners don’t know about Azure Hybrid Benefit and Microsoft teams aren’t really talking about it, but we do—and we’d love to talk with you about what this can mean for your business.
