In my previous video, I started gathering the requirements for an app we’re building for an organization called Forgotten Parks (learn more at ForgottenParks.org); this cool organization works on saving and restoring parks. What I’m building is an inventory application for them and a key piece they wanted was to control who can see certain areas of the app.
In my short demo below, I’ll begin to build this app and show you how to connect it to Active Directory (AD) and how to create groups in AD or Office 365 and add variables to gain or deny access to various functions based on a whether a person is an admin or not.
In this video, I show how to lay the groundwork for showing or hiding certain functions in a Power App. Keep an eye out for my upcoming videos as I continue to build this app for Forgotten Parks.
