Starting out as a DBA is rough. Nobody takes the time to show you the ropes - everybody wants ‘advanced’ this, ‘internals’ that, or deep dive level 1000! All that advanced stuff is great, but you need to build a foundation. This course gives a step-by-step overview of SQL Server and will review installing SQL Server and its various services, post configuration, setting up maintenance plans, reviewing essential concepts surrounding what backups should be selected, and basic SQL Server and Active Directory Security.
This class assumes that you have no prior understanding of SQL Server fundamentals at all, and will hopefully, provide those to you.
