Azure Data Engineer Consultant Role
This is a full-time Azure Data Engineer Consultant role based in Green Cove Springs, FL. In this role, you will work directly with clients to understand business needs and design, build, and deliver practical data engineering solutions on Microsoft Fabric and the broader Azure data ecosystem.
Day-to-day work includes requirements gathering, data architecture and modeling, building data pipelines and ingestion processes, developing and optimizing PySpark notebooks, and guiding clients through the solutions you deliver. You will also review, troubleshoot, and optimize existing data platforms to improve performance, reliability, and business outcomes. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused on solving real data problems and delivering clear value.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Data Pipelines, and Data Warehousing.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling (dimensional/star schema design).
- Hands-on experience with PySpark for data transformation and processing.
- Solid understanding of the broader Azure ecosystem and how its services fit together.
- Experience with Microsoft Purview and Entra ID.
- Prior consulting experience, with a focus on client-facing delivery and satisfaction.
- Skills in requirements gathering, solution design, and project delivery.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

- Experience with Power BI and DAX.
- Experience with Databricks.
- Experience with Snowflake.
