Getting Ready for Agent in a Day

Join Microsoft’s free, hands-on Agent in a Day workshop to learn how to build intelligent, AI-powered agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio—no coding required. Gain practical skills in agent design, automation, and orchestration through guided modules and real-world scenarios. This page is to make sure you're setup for success prior to this event.

Step 1: Get Your Environment

You have a few options for setting up an environment. All of these options are discussed in the video step-by-step above but you'll want to choose one of the following:

Recommended: Create a developer environment or trial environment (if your IT allows)
Standup a Sandbox environment (IT likely must do this for you in the admin center)
Use our temporary environment. This is given to you the day of the class if you attend live.
- NOTE: To use this option, you must have Microsoft Authenticator installed on your phone prior to class.

Step 2: Prep Your Environment

With the environment created, we'll now get it prepped with a sample application. We use this application to create sample data for our class. You can see step by step instructions in the video at the top of this page.

Steps:

Download the student files and uncompress the zip file but do not uncompress any other files in this zip file.
Go to your developer environment you created to use during this class earlier.
Go to Solutions and click Import Solution.

How do I cancel my seat?

Is this class recorded?

Microsoft hosts the Teams meeting and does not allow the meetings to be recorded. We do have a recording of a previous training you can find on our on-demand learning platform. Access is free and there are dozens of other free classes there.

Where is my invite for the training?

Check your inbox (or spam/junk folders) for your Microsoft Teams link from notification@msftevents.microsoft.com. This link is unique to you so if you are unable to locate it, please contact pappspartnerevents@microsoft.com.
