An Introduction to Microsoft Flow

An Introduction to Microsoft Flow

Daniel Strait

Would you like to learn how to work less, do more? Don’t we all! You can do just that using Microsoft Flow.

In a recent webinar, hosted by Daniel Straitiff, we dove into the basics of Microsoft Flow, teaching you how to optimize productivity and connectivity across a multitude of business services that you use every day by using Flow automation.

Workflow automation helps us eliminate repetitive, routine tasks. Automation increases productivity and eliminates inconsistencies, so you can focus on business-critical issues and tasks.

Microsoft Flow is part of the powerful trio of tools called the Power Platform which also includes Power BI and PowerApps. During the presentation, Daniel discussed some real-world business problems and how to solve them using Flow.

He also discussed some extended benefits, such as highly advanced and business critical Flows for IT/Developers and that any Flow can be converted to a Logic App.

This one-hour webinar includes a demo on getting started with Flow, as well as a demo on creating a flow using Flow templates which are pre-built flows that perform one or more tasks automatically after it’s triggered by an event that can be modified to suit your needs.

There are also demos for building Flows from scratch and testing and trouble shooting. He also discusses how Microsoft Flow billing works.

If you want to get started using Flow, so you can work more, do less, this free webinar discusses and demos all you need to know. Watch the complete webinar here. If you’d like to view the presenter’s slides, click here.
