Much of what we can do in Scala we can do in Spark SQL, so if you’re already familiar with SQL, this will make the transition into working with Apache Spark and doing a lot of those data operations much easier.

Then we’ll dig into how we can use IntelliJ IDEA to deploy, debug, automate and expand on existing projects that we’ve already developed.
