Frequently Asked Questions
1- How does it work?
We give you the option of sending one of our top-notch trainers to your facility, offering the training at our Jacksonville, FL location or virtually. With all our training opportunities, we focus on learning with a purpose. That means rather than training to help pass a test, we teach your team how to be more effective at their job.
2- How can we ensure the success of a Hackathon?
The success of any Hackathon days during this engagement are heavily dependent on the preparation of the customer. Any requirements, data access, and queries to source systems should be prepared prior to the start of the engagement. Any technical requirements for development work should be intentionally planned small to give the best opportunity to complete during the engagement.
3- Will the end solution be production ready?
Any example solutions developed during the Hackathon should not be considered a proof of concept, nor be considered “production ready” at the end of the engagement.
4- Can courses be customized?
Yes, we allow for limited customizations to be made to a course outline. That means we can easily remove topics that are not applicable to your company and replace them with others if the added content comes from a course we’ve already developed. For example, if after reviewing our outline you discover that 2 of the 12 topics we cover in a course do not apply to you, depending on the duration of those 2 topics, they could potentially be replaced with different subjects from another course.
5- How many people can we have in the Hackathon?
There is a limit of 10 attendees per session to ensure each participant is able to fully reach their potential and receive in-depth training.
6- What types of technologies would be ideal for a Hackathon?
Power Apps, Power BI, Azure Data Services, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Power Automate.
7- How long is a Hackathon?
1 to 10 days depending on the scope.
