BI Documenter allows you to customize the look and feel of your documentation using BI Documenter’s documentation template.

Customizable Documentation - Step 1

After creating a snapshot, BI Documenter moves on to the ‘Finalize Document’ screen. Click the ‘Template’ tab.

This tab will allow users to change color options such as the title colors, heading background colors, and even the image that appears in the upper right corner of the document.

Click the ellipsis for the Header Background Color. This will open up the color selector.

Select a new color for this area. Change the hue with the slider on the right side of the window. Click OK.

The last field is labeled ‘Custom Logo Image’. The default image is the BI Documenter logo. This image will show in the upper right corner of the document. Click ‘Browse’ to search for a JPEG or GIF file.

BI Documenter will retain these settings each time documentation is generated. To revert back to the default settings, click ‘Restore Defaults’ at the bottom of the window.
