Azure Data Week in Review

Azure Data Week in Review

Azure Data Week in Review

Last week we hosted our first ever Azure Data Week event with a jam-packed week of Azure content. Thanks to everyone who joined this event—what an amazing week it was!

More than 1,350 joined our event and if you were there (virtually of course) you learned a ton! We had sessions on Power BI, Azure Data Platform, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Warehouse, Big Data and Analytics, AI and Cognitive Services and more. In addition, we had sessions focused on the infrastructure, automation and all the stuff necessary to make it all work. We covered every base!

Big kudos to our team for getting this together and making this dream of mine a reality. This was a pilot event for us and we were genuinely floored by the response. We’re excited to learn how many of you are interested in Azure topics and the benefit that this event can provide.

And any bumps we ran into educated us where we need to invest for next year. So, we listened to all the feedback from attendees which we are taking to heart and we’re going to make Azure Data Week a bigger and better experience for you all next year.

A huge thank you goes out to our speakers, our Pragmatic Works team, as well as all the different Microsoft teams (like the Cosmos DB team and the Microsoft field) that helped us to coordinate and get some of these topics together and share some amazing insight with you.

We still want your help for next year. In the comment section below or on our blogs, whether you joined us this year or not, let us know what you’d like to see more of or add for next year or what problems you’re trying to solve in your role or business. With your help we can make Azure Data Week bigger, better and more amazing next year!

If you missed this great event or didn’t hear about it, don’t fret, all the recordings of the sessions will be available for 1 year.

We’re working hard to get those videos available this week (the week of October 15th), plus all the presenters have all the questions asked that they didn’t get to in each session and will answer as many as they can, and we’ll share those answers with you in our blog.

Thanks again for joining us, both our existing community and all the new folks who took in this incredible Azure event! Keep an eye on our blog for all the content we shared and we’re already excited for next year!
