Have you ever wanted to add a signature line to a Power App? In this post, I’ll show you how to add a signature line to a Power App and to save it. This could be saved into an email attachment or a blob store as well as other places. In this case I’ll be saving my signature line into a database.
The application that I demo in my video is for an inspection app, although adding a signature line can apply to many kinds of apps, an order entry or interview app for example. The application I created is for inspection of vehicles (fire trucks, ambulances, etc.) for a county. I’m going to add a signature line on the page where a representative of the county must agree that the inspection has been completed and the vehicle is in good working order, then this form will be saved into a database.
Check out my brief demo below of this easy way to add a signature line to an application in Power Apps - in only 5 to 10 minutes!
