Welcome to the latest Power BI Monthly Digest, where Pragmatic Works trainer Jonathon Silva looks at the latest additions to the ever-evolving Power BI platform.
In the August 2021 edition, there are quite a few features Jonathon wants to highlight for you. Jonathon discusses the new custom shape formatting controls and how you can now customize the look of each of the shape you create, helping you to more flexibly design, structure, and stylize you report pages.
Jonathon then showcases the improvements in conditional formatting for x-axis constant line values on Cartesian charts and how to use shading for regions before or after the constant line.
Also discussed are the new sharing options for Q&A synonyms, which allow users share their synonyms with others within their organization, as well as leverage their coworkers’ synonyms in their own reports.
Lastly, he covers the new report footer updates have been added to the Power BI Mobile app.
