Getting Started with HubSpot
- The journey begins in HubSpot. Log into your HubSpot instance. Devin uses Pragmatic Works for this demonstration.
- Click on the gear icon in the top right corner to access settings.
- Navigate to Integrations > Private Apps.
Creating a Private App
- Private apps provide secure access to HubSpot's API.
- Click on "Create a private app."
- Give your app a name and a description.
- Choose the scope of access for your private app, depending on your needs. For this demonstration, Devin focuses on CRM data.
- Access to CRM data can include contacts, deals, companies, and more.
- Once you've selected your desired access, hit "Create app."
- An access token is generated; remember to keep it secure.

- The API is RESTful, meaning you can perform actions like GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE.
