Microsoft Fabric is an all-in-one analytics solution that encompasses everything from data movement to data science and business intelligence. It offers a comprehensive suite of services, including data lakes, data engineering, and data integration, all within a unified platform. The Microsoft Fabric bootcamp provides a comprehensive overview of the capabilities of Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Power BI, seamlessly integrated into the Power BI Service. Participants will gain proficiency in the intricacies of the Data Lakehouse architecture, utilizing various technologies such as pipelines, notebooks, and Dataflows Gen 2.

Prerequisites

System Requirements

    • Access to a Fabric capacity Power BI Service workspace or the ability to enable a Fabric trial on a workspace in Power BI Service
    • Admin access to the workspace
    • Power BI Desktop
    • A personal laptop if you work in a highly secure environment

Austin is a Jacksonville native who graduated from The Baptist College of Florida in 2012. He previously worked as a manager in the retail service industry. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. His primary focus at Pragmatic Works is on Azure Synapse Analytics and teaching the best practices for data integration, enterprise data warehousing, and big data analytics. He also enjoys helping customers learn the ins and outs of Power BI and showing people new ways to grow their business with the Power Platform.
