Event description

The Introduction to T-SQL Boot Camp is an intensive course that is designed to get you authoring T-SQL queries very quickly. You will first learn about the structure of a SQL Server database, then you will dive right into learning how to query the tables for analytical purposes. Next, you will discover how to modify data, sort, and filter the results, and write queries that involve multiple tables and summary queries. Finally, you will learn and understand the logical programming aspects of T-SQL.

Prerequisites

This class is targeted at developers, analysts or end-users looking to gain a better understanding of how to write T-SQL code. Previous SQL Server knowledge is not required, but students should have a basic understanding of database terminology such as tables, views, columns, rows, etc.

Austin is a Jacksonville native who graduated from The Baptist College of Florida in 2012. He previously worked as a manager in the retail service industry. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. His primary focus at Pragmatic Works is on Azure Synapse Analytics and teaching the best practices for data integration, enterprise data warehousing, and big data analytics. He also enjoys helping customers learn the ins and outs of Power BI and showing people new ways to grow their business with the Power Platform.
