Founder & CEO

Brian Knight is the owner and founder of Pragmatic Works and is a serial entrepreneur, starting other companies throughout his prolific career. He is the author of more than fifteen technical books and has spoken at dozens of conferences like PASS, SQL Connections, and TechEd. He has received a number of awards from the state, governor and press including the Business Ambassador Award (Governor) and Top CEO (Jacksonville Magazine). He is on the board of the region’s Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Corporation.


Devin Knight is a Microsoft Data Platform MVP, Microsoft Certified Trainer, and President of Pragmatic Works Training. He focuses on driving adoption of technology through learning. He is an author of nine Power Platform, Business Intelligence, and SQL Server books. He has been selected as a speaker for conferences like Power Platform Summit, PASS Summit, SQLSaturdays, and Code Camps for many years. Making his home in Jacksonville, Florida Devin is a contributing member to several local user groups.


Mitchell Pearson has been with Pragmatic Works for 8 years as a Data Platform Consultant and the Training Content manager. Mitchell has authored books on SQL Server, Power BI and the Power Platform. Data Platform experience includes designing and implementing enterprise level Business Intelligence solutions with the Microsoft SQL Server stack (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), the Power Platform and Microsoft Azure. 


As a Training Content Manager, Consultant and Trainer with Pragmatic Works, Manuel uses his extensive knowledge of the BI Stack (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS etc.) to deliver exciting and engaging content. He also has experience with T-SQL, DAX, Power Platform and Azure Data Services. Manuel, however, is known for his impressive knowledge of the Microsoft Power BI tool. A native of Puerto Rico, He graduated from the University of Central Florida and loves being involved in the world of business intelligence. Manuel is a thought leader in the BI community.

Daniel Straitiff is a Trainer, Consultant, and Training Content Manager for Pragmatic Works specializing in the Power Platform. An Air Force veteran with a background in technology and broadcast media, he has the skills to develop high quality training content and provide engaging learning experiences. With Microsoft Certifications in Power BI, Power Automate, and the Power Platform, Daniels efforts are currently focused on helping our customers learn and master the Power Platform.

Matt Peterson is a Trainer for Pragmatic Works specializing in the Power Platform. He graduated from the University of North Florida in 2006 and comes with 15 years of teaching experience in high school algebra. Matt earned the accomplishment in 2013 of being named the Florida Gifted Teacher of The Year. His primary focus is helping our customers learn the ins and outs of Power Apps and Power BI.


Julia Londero

Marketing Director

Julia, originally from Brazil, has been living in Jacksonville for 10 years. She graduated with honors from University of North Florida with a double major in Marketing & International Business and minor in Spanish. Julia also obtained her MBA with a concentration in Marketing from UNF.

As the Marketing Director, Julia evaluates and develops marketing strategies and plans by coordinating social media, email, and PPC marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, tracking/reporting/analyzing KPIs, and providing recommendations. She has extensive experience in the marketing industry and over 30 marketing certifications.

Her expertise in marketing strategy, project management, content creation, digital campaigns, paid-ads, product and service promotion, and marketing research and analytics all contribute to helping the company thrive.

Savannah Hill

Digital Marketing Coordinator

Savannah grew up in the Florida panhandle and developed a love of writing as a child. Her plan was to turn her love of storytelling into a career in journalism. Growing up as a proud gator fan, Savannah knew the University of Florida was the best place to do this.


While earning her bachelor’s degree in journalism at UF, Savannah discovered a passion for marketing. She pursued internships and jobs in marketing and quickly learned how to combine her writing skills with analytical skills. Since graduating, she has held various marketing positions, working for a range of businesses spanning non-profits and large companies. In these roles she has worked on social media content creation, copy writing, email marketing, creative design and more.


Her passion for communication and marketing has brought her to Pragmatic Works where she serves as the Digital Marketing Coordinator. Savannah is happy to use her skillset to help benefit and grow the company. 



Gina Ostrowsky

Senior Learning Adviser & Training Manager

Gina and her family transferred from Cleveland, Ohio to Jacksonville, Florida fifteen years ago.  After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Marketing: Selling and Sales Management from BGSU, her career path has primarily been in markets of healthcare, asset and service management, infection control, and now data management.


With a broad background in business, including sales management, marketing, and account management, Gina applies her skill set to Pragmatic Works Training.  She covers the Midwest and West territory on the training side, educating and focusing efforts around the Microsoft Data Solutions.

Roxann Foley

Training Sales Manager

Roxann was born and raised in England where she studied child care and psychology before moving to the United States. She’s been in B2B sales for about six years and thoroughly enjoys helping companies large and small by assisting them in finding the right path to training their employees and gaining the knowledge they need to become more successful.

Ashley Bennett

Training Renewal Specialist 

Ashley is a Florida native who has been working at Pragmatic Works for over a year and a half. She has a sales background and is currently the Training Renewal Specialist. She is also involved in account and customer relationship management. She received her marketing degree from the University of Florida and is presently pursuing her MBA at UF, as well. Go Gators!

Blake Dudley

Business Development Representative 

Blake comes from a military family and served four years in the U.S. Navy, spending much of his time traveling  both across the country and internationally. He has a diploma in Medical Insurance Billing and Coding as well as an Associate’s degree in both Criminal Justice and Healthcare Management. Blake enjoys studying new technologies, video games, anime, and learning about other cultures.

Belinda Wheeler

Business Development Representative 

Belinda has an extensive background in customer service and business development, which led to her current position at Pragmatic Works. She attended the University of North Florida for her undergrad and continued on to earn her Master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University. When she is not at work, she is an avid reader and enjoys taking photos out in nature.
